Honey Glow

Honey Glow — theme artwork

From Leona, the songwriter

Pop

Golden hour is the shortest part of the day and the one everyone photographs. I wrote Honey Glow about that exact feeling — iced tea sweating on the railing, an old playlist on repeat, sunlight turning everyone gold. The line I love most: golden hour knows it's leaving, that's why it's golden. Tessa's voice does the rest — bright, warm, gone too soon, like the light itself.

Lyrics

[Verse 1] Iced tea sweating on the railing Your old playlist on repeat Sun is spilling through the skyline Painting all of us honey-sweet [Chorus] Honey glow, honey glow Sun is dripping sweet and slow Golden hour, don't you go Hold us in the honey glow [Verse 2] "One more song before it goes" The skyline burning low Maya shakes the last Polaroid "For December, so we'll know" [Chorus] Honey glow, honey glow Sun is dripping sweet and slow Golden hour, don't you go Hold us in the honey glow [Bridge] Golden hour knows it's leaving That's why it's gold So we laugh a little louder While there's light left to hold [Final Chorus] Honey glow, honey glow Sun is dripping sweet and slow Golden hour, don't you go Hold us in the honey glow Honey glow, honey glow We're the honey, we're the glow
